The Best Beaches in Ibiza: A Personal Guide to Paradise

February 18, 2025

Ibiza isn’t just about nightlife – it’s also home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean. Whether you’re looking for hidden coves, family-friendly spots, or buzzing beach clubs, this island has it all. Here are my top recommendations for the best beaches in Ibiza.

  1. Cala Comte

This beach is absolutely stunning, with crystal-clear turquoise waters and incredible sunset views. The golden sand and rocky islets offshore create a picture-perfect setting. Plus, the beach bars here is great for sipping a cocktail while watching the sun go down.

  1. Cala Bassa

Located close to San Antonio, Cala Bassa is one of my favorites because of its soft white sand and shallow waters, making it perfect for families. If you want a more luxurious experience, the Cala Bassa Beach Club (CBbC) offers fantastic food, comfy sunbeds, and live music.

  1. Ses Salines

This beach, set within a beautiful nature reserve, has a lively yet chilled-out vibe. It’s popular for its stylish beach bars, music, and clear waters. Whether you want to relax or enjoy the energetic atmosphere, Ses Salines is always a great choice.

  1. Benirràs

Benirràs has a unique charm, surrounded by lush hills and famous for its Sunday sunset drumming sessions. There’s something magical about watching the sun go down here while listening to the rhythmic beats. Plus, the rocky seabed makes it a great snorkeling spot.

  1. Cala d’Hort

If you love breathtaking views, Cala d’Hort is a must-visit. It overlooks Es Vedrà, a mystical rock island, and has a relaxed vibe. It’s also an amazing spot to enjoy fresh seafood at a beachfront restaurant while soaking in the scenery.

  1. Aguas Blancas

This is one of Ibiza’s more secluded beaches, loved by locals for its golden cliffs and clear, shallow waters. It’s also a nudist-friendly beach, perfect for those who prefer a more natural and laid-back experience.

  1. Cala Xarraca

If you enjoy adventure, Cala Xarraca is a hidden gem worth discovering. Its rocky coastline, transparent waters, and natural mud baths makes it a unique spot for a day out.

Ibiza offers a little bit of everything when it comes to beaches, so no matter what kind of vibe you’re after, you’ll find your own paradise here.
