August is the perfect time for padel stars to take a break and recharge their batteries before diving into a busy autumn filled with tournaments. After a busy first part of the season, the top padel players around the world have taken some time off to relax, and most of them have chosen Spain’s stunning coastline as their holiday destination. However, there are a few exceptions.

Arturo Coello has chosen Formentera as his vacation spot, sharing social media posts with friends and colleagues, including Jaime Munoz and Coki Nieto, who recently lost in the Finland P2 final against the new duo Lebron/Di Nenno. Speaking of these two, Juan Lebron has opted for the iconic Ibiza, where he was spotted at the “Lío” club. Martín Di Nenno, on the other hand, has decided to unwind at the Tivoli La Caleta Tenerife Resort, a luxury hotel where Argentine player Delfi Brea is also staying.

From Andalusia, Paquito Navarro has been enjoying some time in Almeria before moving on to Cadiz for a beach vacation with friends. His teammate Pablo Cardona has also taken a break in Tarifa, along with his friend Fran Guerrero.

Veronica Virseda chose Palma de Mallorca as her destination for some downtime. Italian player Carolina Orsi also picked the Balearic Islands, but for a different reason: together with her partner Gemma Triay, she spent a few days in Menorca before heading to the Rafa Nadal Academy in Palma, where they continue to train under coach Rodri Ovide.

Marta Ortega, meanwhile, is training at the Puente Romano Beach Resort in Marbella, as shown in her Instagram stories from the gym. Bea Gonzalez opted for a more active holiday, heading to Asturias for mountain walks with her boyfriend.

Not everyone stayed in Spain, however. Jon Sanz traveled farther afield, spending his vacation in the Dominican Republic, while Alejandra Salazar decided to enjoy the beaches of Saint-Tropez in France.

Speaking of France, Aranzazu Osoro is also there, but not for beach time. She went to attend the Paris Olympic Games in person. Specifically, she watched the quarterfinal match between Argentina and France, which ended with a 1-0 victory for the French. Alejandro Galan doesn’t seem to miss a moment of the Olympics either, frequently posting on social media to celebrate the achievements of Spanish athletes.

Lastly, there’s someone who doesn’t seem to know the meaning of a vacation: Javi Garrido, who has made it clear on social media that he’s using this break to train hard, with the goal of being in peak form when he returns to the court with his new partner Alex Ruiz.

So, while many of the padel stars are enjoying their well-deserved holidays by the sea, some have opted for mountains, others are traveling abroad, and some are staying focused on their training — all with an eye on the upcoming challenges ahead!
